How do i use compost on my vegetable garden?
So i started a garden already put the seeds in the grown and miracle grown as well. I read about compost and how it helps your plants so im wondering how do i use my compost with out disturbing the seedlings ive already planted. Or how do i use coffee and tea grounds to my flower bed?? Do i bury it or put it on top??
Since you already planted your seeds, it is a little late to be mixing it into the soil without killing your seedlings. You can do a couple of things.
1) Spread the compost around the plants when the get a little bigger. This nutrients from the compost will leach into the soil when you water
2) wait until after you harvest everything and till the compost in the soil for next year. .
