    lol dude you should start a fashion line on your website too.. Typical Aussie clobber for the working man in the garden! don’t forget to show us the progress. If you are like me, you will dig it up and put it on the garden and then realise you didn’t film it before hand. :)

    @BradinOkinawa For those in cooler climates (ie, a bit less in the solar input side of things), black plastic (as skinnyviv) said, perforated and covered by clear plastic. This will usually create an enormous amount of condensation, which drips through the perforations in the black plastic. Nice way to “steam clean” your garden. I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re in very warm/dry climate. The heat generated may be excessive.

    @skinnyviv thank you for the response. That is good to know. Where I live it gets quite hot here in the summer as well. 40C+ I will have to try this out sometime

    @BradinOkinawa if the temperature in the compost heap gets hot enough, it will ‘cook’ any seeds beyond any possibility of fertilisation. In Australia, this is not very hard to achieve, particularly under plastic for several months. Black plastic is even better because it absorbs so much heat.
