Gardening update, composting, need help dealing with hungry deer!

Another brief sidetrack from the silver topics because I had some viewers asking for an update on the garden. All the weeds are pulled, the soil is tilled, and about half the beds are now either seeded or seedling’d.

If you don’t compost, please look into it! It’s free, very easy to do, and has about a zillion benefits both for yourself and for the planet. Whether or not you garden, you should compost.

Please comment or message me if you know any good deer-repelling methods. I’ve already heard of peeing on your yard (no comment) so don’t bother with that one. As for a fence, I can’t, the terrain is too crazy and I don’t have money to put into a fence right now anyway. I can’t get a dog at the moment so that one’s out too. Oh yeah and in my area we can’t shoot wild animals within city limits, so that’s out. I’d rather not throw rocks, because I don’t like hurting other animals… but I will protect my food! Alternatives that aren’t harmful to the deer, expensive, or damaging to the planet would be best. Thanks!
