hey, thanks ya’ll…just wanted to second calecat’s response…the smaller the bits of material, the faster they break down…i went to a compost fair a few weeks ago and got 400 pounds for the garden! i don’t think my home composters can yield quite that much regardless of my insatiable appetite! laura
