HOw can I get rid of fruit flies in my composting worm bin? They are driving me crazy!?

Had the same problem. I agree with Cookie Monster, the cider and dish detergent really cuts down on the problem. I trapped 50 or so in 4 days.
I never had the problem when I would (yes I did) run all the scraps through a hand meat grinder first before adding to the bin. It all seemed to have started when I added the scraps as pieces…mostly banana peels and cantaloupe rinds.

Set a trap to catch them. I use a 2L coke bottle and cut a "u" shape square in the side close to the top.. making sure to leave the little flap bit at the bottom… push in the u shape square so the flies can fly into the bottle.
Fill with apple juice or cidar from the top and waaa laa.. fly trap.. those that don't drown will generally not be able to find their way out
