Slugs in worm composts?

Is it okay to have slugs in a worm compost? Will they harm one another?

Slugs aren't carniverous…they like the same things worms do…but I don't like that they leave that residue, so I try to keep them out by salting my compost now and then.

Slugs are no good anywhere, for anything. Just add some crushed clam shells or similar material to the pile as slugs will cut themselves open and die from these shells.
You can also spray them with household bleach and watch them melt.
