When you are composting with worms how do you keep the worms warm?

I am composting for our school and we are wondering how to keep the worms warm in the winter if you have an outdoor compost bin.

The compost will produce heat, true.
But worms can almost freeze and survive, so don’t worry!

On the other hand, I got this mental picture of worms wearing stripped knitted sweaters and woolly hats with ear flaps! LOL!
