Well, we tried the local nurseries and everyone looked at us like we were from outer space! Didn’t think to try the pet stores, but they would have been raised as a food source so perhaps wouldn’t have been of “hardy stock”. I’m happy we purchased them online, I just wish they hadn’t been lost in the mail for a week! Poor little wormies….
No way! There has …
No way! There has to be worms in Florida. They sell the red wigglers as “red worms” at petsmart. If petsmart has them, then petco probably has it too. I am also sure that local nurseries sell them too. They usually have a little fridge with ladybugs, microorganisms, and earthworms (which are actually red wigglers).
